The Newcomers Club is a very large and diverse group of Moms who enjoy sharing their thoughts and opinions on all sorts of subjects.

Many of our members are new and many have been here since they 1st joined CafeMom.

Hi, everyone! I am a mom of 2 kids (a boy who turns 4 at the end of this month and a girl who will be 6 in September. I also have a 14 year old stepdaughter, who I have had in my life for 12 years now. I have been married for nearly 8 years and am almost 35 years old (in 2 weeks!). I am a teacher, so I am off all summer and thought I would check out this cafemom site. I'm not too sure how this works, but we'll see how it goes! ;)

My username name is "mommyflash." I am not a flasher or a superhero. FLASH spells out the initials of my family's first names. I use it for everything! :)

Hi there moms.  I'm excited to be a part of Cafe Mom!  As a mom who works outside the home, I'm excited about chatting with others in the same boat....wow it's tough and especially in my forties.  I have a 3 year old son and a husband who helps out when he can (he owns a restaurant so I feel like a single mom most of the time:(

Hello to all and thanks for a forum for introductions.

I'm a (mostly) single mother of a 9 year old boy. His dad is involved, 80% of custody and responsibility for his care has been with me since he was 3 years old, so often I have questions on school age boys in general.

Also though, I often have issues with having an "only" child. So I was wondering:

Is there a Group for Moms of Only Children, or a Group kind of like that? Any guidance or suggestions would be helpful.
