 So, I am/was fed up with phone companys giving me late fees, or just random charges on a contract phone bill.......and my bill that was supposed to be like 60 a month being 100 or so.......Got a prepaid phone....ended up spending more than that every month....about 2 weeks ago we got a "straight talk" phone at walmart....(I think its through trac phone) we have unlimited talk, unlimited text and unlimited 411!) I figured we would have sh**y signal or something but actually we have had GREAT signal since we got it, including our trip from nc during easter back home to Florida, and we drove through some serious backwoods in alabama.....does anyone else have a "straight talk" phone? its only 45 a month........anyone had any good or bad experience with it?

I have a prepaid net10 cell phone.  It's enough for us, and it costs us $30 every 2 months.  It has text also.

it's through tracfone, which is through verizon, hence the great service!! we have the same......screw contracts

Nope...I have AT&T and love it...have had it since I was in high school...never have dropped calls or fees that shouldn;t be on the bill! Sorry!

We have Boost mobile & ♥ it.  50$ for unlimited talk,text, internet, direct connect & no contract :)

 We have revol. Im not sure if it's local. But we pay a flat fee and get unlimited everything. No contract. The only bad is the phones are a little expensive and some places you do not get the best service.

 occasionally the bill was late if we forgot ....by late I mean a day or two...so I guess that was warrented, but they NEVER sent us a bill, even though dh asked them too 1000 times.  (Sprint was horrible) I just got sick of having fees and charges for NO reason.

 My DH has one. He always gets the $45/mo. card. It's only $15 more and everything is unlimited. But we live in BFE and there isn't a cell phone in creation that can have GOOD signal here, lol......well maybe a satellite phone...
