I thought baby's breast bud was suppose to go away?

my baby is 13 months old and i was told by one doctor that it was or usually goes away by the babys 1st bday and her doctor said the same but also said that sometimes it doesnt go away, when she wears something like a onesie it stands out, does any one have a baby that has one or had one, when did it go away or did it? Thanks

one of my dds had it while i was breast feeding the drs told me that  she was getting xtra hormones through my milk she was about 4 months when it was gone but i was told if it didn't go away after breast feeding that she may need to see an endocrinologist

HAHAHAHAHA I googled breast buds and it said its when tweens start getting boobies.. I SO dont think that's right.. lol

my 22 mo dd got them as side effect from reflux meds she was taking, and they are still there. No advice for you though, sorry
