Going Rate For Tooth Fairy

My 5 year old twins had their 6 month check up and DD's bottom two teeth are loose, one will probably come out soon.

What is the going rate for the tooth fairy to leave money?

My nephew gets $1 a tooth and I will do the same for my son.

 $1 a tooth last I checked.... but it's been awhile since I lost teeth LOL.

We just discovered my almost 6 year old son got our houses first loose tooth today! (My oldest just turned 8 and he hasn't lost one yet!)

I plan on doing the Tooth Fairy Special $5 for that special first tooth, $1 for each one after that.

We do $1, except for the day the tooth fairy forgot to get the tooth, the next day it was $2.

same here for my nephew and niece. .... Cute story my nephew lost a tooth and his little sister snuck into his room and took his tooth. She left him a quarter. Then she put his tooth under her pillow cause she wanted the dollar. So the left the dollar under her pillow. She was so excited the next morning she spilled the beans and had to give her brother the dollar. She was 3 1/2.

 We gave $5 for that first tooth - it's a big deal.  All teeth after that are $2, but that's just what WE do.
