Mother's Day Craft Help!!!

I am trying to think of a cute craft idea for a gift for Mother's Day for my mom. I just had a baby 8 months ago so I was thinking of doing something with my son. Like decorate a frame with a picture of just him or him, DH, and I. Is it weird to give her something having to do with DS since he is her grandchild?

Anybody have any suggestions?!

Something with little handprints or footprints are always a good idea too.

I don't think it is wierd at all. I have my students do things for their grandma for mother's day when they don't have a mom. They make cards with this poem inside:

Wonderful Grandma

Grandma, you’re so wonderful,
On Mother’s Day I think of you--
The unconditional love you give
The sweet and generous things you do.

You’ve made a difference in my life;
I love you more than I can say.
That’s why I give this poem to you,
To wish you “Happy Mother’s Day!”

 You could use one of those frames with multiple openings.  Put pics in a couple of them (ds, you and dh with ds, etc) and the babies hand or foot prints in one.  it there are more openings you can use pretty scrapbook paper to fill them.

Great idea! I think I will do that and put the poem from PP in one of the openings! Thanks!
