My husband asked me...

...to make a wishlist for Mother's Day.

He's scheduled to work all day, so the "time together" wish that I'd really want won't be coming true.

Ideas?  Anyone?

Why can't you spend the evening together?

Can't do the salon stuff because DD is just a toddler and she'd be with me all day.

Dinner and lunch out sucks unless my hubby is there.  I dunno, I don't really like to do stuff without the hubster, he makes it fun.

Does he work the day before or after? Or the weekend after mother's day. Maybe postpone it till a day that he doesn't work and then do the things you want. That is what we were and possibly are planning.

Sucks he has to work though!

He works till 10:30ish Saturday night, and I work till 8:30ish Monday night.

He works every weekend (and 3 days during the week), I work all week.

If we waited till we were both off together, we'd have to wait till June.  And then it'd be Father's Day.

You could have a late dinner just you and him..Sunday when he gets home..so why not celebrate mother's day and father's day together in June?

He can still bring you flowers and a card, and maybe a late dinner home..(doesn't have to be fancy)..and then make the big day in June with father's day.

Why does it have to be ON Mother's Day? Pick another day that he's free and do something you both love, together.
