They don't get soda, but then again neither does my diabetic husband or me.

ah no....my son gets juice or water, or milk..he is only 5

We don't buy it for the house, but don't restrict it outside of the house.  There are no age limits, short of I wouldn't put it in a baby bottle.

Once in awhile, they take a couple sips of mine. Now the other day we were at my dads and all he has is soda, so I gave them sprite in their cups. I don't see a problem since it's not excessive.

 The only time my daughter is allowed to have soda is if we are out some where that is only offering soda and even then we limit it.  When my dad was alive he used to give her a small amout when she stayed with my parents. I was okay with that because that was his special treat for her and it was not like he loaded her up with it.  My husband is the only one in the house that drinks it so we don't keep a lot in the house.

 My son, almost 4, usually gets a sprite when we are out to eat or at a holiday or birthday party.

No, no and no! Won't for a LONG time. Then again, he's not even 2 yet ;)
