Has anyone tried the natural calming remedies for kids? My sis mentioned she saw something in the store the other day. Do they work? Is there a type you use that is different? They had drops, chew tabs, and a night time quick dissolve one that said also helped with growing pains ( Calm Forte 4 Kids).

They don't knock your kid out.  I wish.

I use cough syrup for that LOL. Not really, just my sis mentioned it and was curious if it helps with focus and other things it claims. My 3 yr old does get really wild at night and thought it might help with bedtinme routine. I do not feel it is anything that will knock her out.

Those were the ones I was thinking of trying. Has anyone used them for focus in their child my oldest dd has slight focusing issue in school.

I have only used them when he was over-tried, really upset and having trouble calming down.  I also tell him that they will help him so it could be the placebo effect, but either way I think they help some. It's not like some miracle pill or anything. If it was I would question the safety of it anyway.
