I have been avoiding cafemom a lot lately. Been a lot going on in my life. Daddy still hanging on, just barely.
Did take a break and got away yesterday. Early father's day surprise for the dh. Emily and I took him to Bayou Pierre Alligator Park in Pawhatan/Natchitoches, La. Had a really good day. Emily took her dsi and took a few pic, although they are blurry. The little pygmy goats were a loud bunch of kids. lol They had them up for sale for $60. We sure wanted one, but can't have here in town and no way to haul one with us. lol

My heart and mind is weary. I need strength to get me through these days of helping my mom and dad. Daddy has gotten weaker and needing more assistance. Met with the home health nurse today. She was very helpful. Glad to have someone coming in now to help us.
Came home to get fresh clothes and a shower. Going back out to stay with mom and dad. All day tomorrow more dr appointments with dad. He did get a wheel chair today that will help us get him in and out of the vehicle a lot easier. He is tired, said he is ready to go home to rest. (Heaven). And honestly I can understand him feeling that way. He has had a hard fight with this damn cancer. It is so hard to watch him deteriorate. He is so frail and weak. :(
But I will not falter I want to be by his side until the end.
