Hi!

We'll have to add that to the list!

LO usually means Little One.

I hope you're having a nice weekend!

Hi!

To add a signature to your posts and replies, click on the 'privacy and settings' link on the top of the page. Then click on the 'signatures' link on the left side of that page. Follow the instructions to add either a plain-text or rich-text signature to your account.

Once you've added your signature, set your signature to default so it pops up automatically when you post.

Here are some Cafemom Groups that help create Signatures:

Hi!

I'm new and a little lost.

Is there a glossary page?

In the meantime, what is a 'troll'?

What is a 'siggy'? Actually, I Googled it and think I've got that one figured out.

What is a 'sweet pea' and a 'charm'?

Thanks,

Alice

Sounds like you are talking about features/sections/areas of Cafemom, rather than the acronyms the members use. (acronyms meaning "lol" for 'laugh out loud' etc.)

A "sweetpea" is something you can simply add to a post to make it more personal, like this:

patriotic

Simply click on the SweetPea button and you will see a tons of choices to choose from. Once you select one, it goes right into your post like the one I just used with the flag.

A "Charm" is a simple way to say something about a post, as in whether you think it is "helpful" or "funny" etc. etc. Look up next to this OP (original post) and see where the charms are added. Use the lil drop down menu for Charms and add one yourself, you will see the number tally for that particular charm increase by one...which is your charm added.

"Troll" is a silly cyber word that you can google to learn more about.

Hope this helps and welcome to Cafemom!
