I had several m/c's so I had one every month with my son.  The doctor wanted to monitor him to make sure everything was going well:)

It sounds like a lot, to me. I had a lot of ultrasounds with my kids, but not every month.

are you still pregnant or has your baby been born? How's your baby doing?

at the end of my last pregnancy going from 35 weeks and on I had an ultrasound every week.  They had to do amniotic fluid checks on me.

I'm chatting with my little sis and she tells me she has ultrasounds every month. Find it alarming. Is there any side effects for the baby?

That's a lot but I had 5 with my dd and she is ok.  I think I had 4 with my son and he's fine, too.

I would only do it if it was medically necessary (that many).

I had twins and the second half of the pregnancy started every 3 weeks for an u/s.  Then, towards the end, it was every 2.  I can't even count how many I had.  They were born fine with no problems (they are almost 2 now).
