Having trouble

I'm trying really hard to quit smoking. Today is really the first day of being serious about quitting.
My mom is not being supportive at all and I was really hoping she would. She doesn't think I can do it because she couldn't.
Not only that but I already put the kids to bed and this is the time I smoke the most and I am struggling. I want to go next door and ask my neighbor for a cig and I feel like I am having to force myself not to.
And sorry but cm is the only thing right now keeping my mind of the cigs and I'm still having trouble. I've been eating sunflower seeds but I can't get the craving to go away.
Any encouragement or advice would be welcome ladies.

My husband said having a piece of gum to pop in his mouth helped out and having beef jerky handy, hope that helps!

when I quit I didnt know why and a few weeks later I found out I was prego. Each day is a little easier and you will think about it less. Just keep your mouth busy and youtube the stupid tabacco truth commercials lol they crack me up. I like the ones where if you can learn to do something without a cigarette lol.

I chewed ice, and sucked on lemon heads...The first few days are the roughest. I slept alot in order to deal with the cravings. Good luck to you!

I wish I could sleep. I'm so jittery and wired. I'm keeping my mouth busy and the rest of me. I get getting up and pacing around the house and I'm tense and cussing. Lol. I like never cuss.
I'm quitting mainly for my kids and becuase I've heard if you aren't ready it won't work and I am completely ready. I knew it'd be hard, but I didn't realize how hard.
Thank you for the support and advice ladies. I can do this. I have to.
