This is my 2nd pregnancy, but I don't remember this part from my 1st.

Anyways, for the past 3-4 weeks, I have had so much pain "down there."  It's not really pressure...I mean, every once in awhile yea there's some pressure.  But the majority of the time it's like this stabbing/pinching pain.  It's fine if I'm sitting or laying down.  But when I walk or just change positions when sitting/lying down that it really hurts.  If I'm up and walking for a bit, like at the store, I'm fine.

I do plan to ask my OB at my next appt, but that isn't for another 2.5 weeks.

Anyone else experience something similar?

Call the doctor.  Your doctor should know that this is happening.  It can be from many things depending on your own body.  They will probably need to check the baby to make sure you aren't entering early labor.

I had that...

It meant my pelvic bone was starting to split...

nothing to do but lay down and call the doctor and they prescribed me pain pills...

it's not an emergency either , it just sucks majorly...

I'm 39 weeks into my second pregnancy as well, and I've been having pain down there as well (sounds similiar to what you're describing.)  I've been told it's normal to feel more pressure... the baby is probably pressing on a nerve or something.  I know, not fun.  We're almost done though!  Hang in there :-)
