My 3 year old son has a a fever and the doctors don't know what's causing it. They checked for a uti and he didn't have that, but he did have ketones in it, because he hasn't eaten anything today. He doesn't have an ear infection or strep throat either. His throat was a little red but that's all. Tylenol does bring the fever down, but as soon as the tylenol wears off the fever is back. His ears are also bright red and hot to the touch. His been holding his stomach but hasn't had gas or diarrhea or vomiting. He fell yesterday and hurt his arm and doesn't like me touching it, but there is no bruising or swelling. The fall probably doesn't have anything to do with the fever but thought I'd put that in there. Anyone know what this could be?

It's probably a virus . . . I hope he feels better soon!

readingI have four kids.  I've been married 22 years. My favorite color is purple. I hate coffee. I read a lot. I love to go to movies alone. Hot weather makes me crabby.
