I've been looking for a reliable way to lose weight without depriving myself. So I want to know what you guys did or are doing to lose weight and what you have tried that didn't work. :)

i use sparkpeople, which has helped me find ways to feel like i'm eating enough while still staying within my calories.  i also do cardio for 30-60 minutes 3 days a week and weight training 3 days a week.

I wasnt trying to lose weight, but lost 120 pounds in about 18 months because I was addicted to ice water.

The doctor explained that the ice water lowered my body temp and inturn my body burned calories when it tried to warm itself back up. Also, because of the water, I ate a lot less.

I am your average everyday, former upstate NY'er, now living in TN....Harley riding ,crazy,pro-porn,strip club,Hooters for husbands type of wife and older mom of 3 boys.

Right now I weigh 140. Ideally I'd be 120 or less. I am satisfied with most things on my body minus my belly and my love handles. My mom does Zumba and just bought the tapes for home and I am going to try that with no monitoring on the food I eat. I have always been the type to eat junk and lay down and not gain a pound... but I was skinny, now I have a saggy belly from the kids.

I am going to track my progress once I can catch my breath and take before photos. I will weigh myself at my moms and then maybe measure my waist.

My mom gets married in September so if I could lose 20 lbs by then, it would be awesome.

I use myfitnesspal.com and track the food/water that I eat and try and keep my calories between 1200-1400.  I also walk 3-4 times a week for at least 30 minutes each time and I just started (on Tuesday) taking an hour long Zumba class twice a week.

Oh and I quit drinking caffiene and drink tons of water now.
