Ear Infection

My dd hasn't felt well for the last couple of days (fever and grumpy) and she's been rubbing her ears. I'm thinking it's an ear infection but I can't take her to the doctor until tomorrow. She's never had an ear infection before so I really don't know the signs or symptoms. Could someone please tell what they are and what may help? Thank you

Every time either of my kids start acting unlike themselfs, and rubbing thier ears, or sticking their fingers in their ears, it is an infection.  Do take her in, but if she gets grumpy and crying tonight, you can give her motrin to help the pain.

Good sign its an ear infection. Try tylenol or motrin for the pain, and my daughter is weird but she likes an ice pack on her ear

How old is she?

You don't always need antibiotics for ear infections . . . I just treat my kids for pain - if they get worse and worse, then I take them in.

Hope she feels better soon!
