Shipping cookies?

I want to bake some cookies for my husband. I will need to ship them.

How would I go about doing that? Can I just put them in a tin? They will be delivered within 2-3 days. Or do they need to be vacuum sealed?

Thanks!

I wanted to send some cookies out to my friends and family also and am interested to hear what others have to say. I was thinking of just packing them very well in wax paper, in a box, within another box that had peanuts or something between the two boxes. hadn't priced it yet though.

I used empty pringle cans to send cookies to my ex dh in Saudi...he said they arrived intact and tasted fine.
