WTF, help me!

I went to check on my laundry and the washer was still filling. WTF, I put the laundry in like 2 1/2 hours ago. I turn on the light and sure enough, the basement floor's soaked.

The husband dry-locked the basement (it's like paint that seals the basement from leaks) and the hose must have come out from the back of the washer..... but I used it earlier today and yesterday w/o issue.

So who knows WTF happened, and who knows how many gallons of water I just wasted, but I turned off the washer for now until the husband makes sure it's fixed.

One thing I learned is to never use the rubber washer hoses. They can have so many issues.  Use the other ones that are reinforced with stainless steel.  Go out and buy those and you won't ever have problems again.

hon i feel your pain. we have a house built in 1918. the pipes going to the street are CLAY. so every damn year the tree roots have grown in to them and we get a back up of GALLONS UPON GALLONS of water in the basement. UGH.

My happiness is me, not you. Not only because you may be temporary,

but because you want me to be What I am not.

it's like a hard plastic bendy hose..... from the wall to the back of the washer. I think the water's done, hopefully he will fix it without issue so I can resume laundry tomorrow
