Would you buy food for a friend with your FS?

If you had a friend whose wife had just had back surgery, had a large unexpected housing expense, and had no money left for food, would you buy this friend what his family needed until he got his next paycheck? Even if it is against the FS rules?

Of course I would.
Not at the expense of my family of course, but I'd do what I could to help.

Well, before my food stamps started back in December,my neighbor was getting them and helped feed us,so when mine came in we helped her.I told my worker what I was doing.

sometimes you do whats wrong to do whats right, no matter all the bashing etc, I'd break the rues if I had enough leftover after feeding my family, beforeI'd let someone I'm close to go hungry!

Yes, I would. I would be doing that in a heartbeat. It doesn't matter if it is "against the rules." Screw that. If they are extra FS for you that month, I would try to help someone out.

out of my own pocket, yes. Off the fs? no. They frown on that shit, and the last thing i need is to get in bad with the county.
