My oldest daughter loves to read.  I gave her my copies of Little Women, Little Men, and Five Little Peppers and How They Grew.  She loves them and takes very good care of them.  She has also read most of the Judy Blume books and Beverly Cleary books that I read.  She's not too fond of the Babysitters Club books, but she has read some of them.

My daughter is not old enough of yet for Babysitters Club but I love 'If You Give a Mouse' series and she loves them too! When she gets older, I will hunt for the Babysitters Club books, I heard that they are selling them again?

I LOVED the Beverly Cleary and Judy Bloom books! I was also a huge Babysitter's Club fan.

I also higly recommend The Trumpet of the Swan, Where the Red Fern Grows, Charlotte's Web, and The Outsiders. I read all the time as a kids and still do. These are the ones that have always stood out in my mind though.
