See if the doctor who diagnosed him can give you a referral to a nutritionist - they'd be in the best position to advise you on a better diet for him.

Why didn't his doctor recommend a diet or a nurtrionist to creat a diet for him?  That's usually what happens in this type of situation..

Anyhoo...lol....  The diet for a bleeding ulcer can differ and depend on other factors like: medications being taken, the type of ulcer it actually is..ect.

Your best bet, and his, is to contact his doctor who diagnosed him and ask for diet recommendations or to have a consult with a nurtionist set up.

Did they find out what caused the ulcers ? Did he take a test to check for H.pylori ?

Make sure he gets enough fiber from fruits and vegetables.Flavonoids in foods like apples , celery, garlic, onions, ta and cranberry juice keep H. pylori from growing if that is what caused his ulcers.Don't smoke, drink alcohol, or have coffee and carbonated drinks.he should also try to eat blueberries, tomatoes, and squash for the antioxidants.
