Would you believe someone if they are 18 and is making 100,000 dollars?

No, unless they told me they were a prostitute or drug dealer.

I totally would. I know a few young entrepreneurs. And one of my friends had a $75,000/yr job PLUS bonuses for working for an oil company at the age of 20.

I would question how they made that much. It's rare that an 18 year old that isn't some sort of entertainer has a skill set available to them at such a young age that would allow for a six figure income before they've barely graduated high school.

If they weren't a celeb or something along those lines, I might question it....

BUT a guy I went to school with was making serious money by the time he was 16. He was kind of a genius and was able to program computers and repair them. He had his own company by the time he was 18.

I meant a normal 18 not singer or actor.

It would depend on the person.  There are some teens who likely could earn that income, but they are not the norm.
