Need Shrimp and Scallop ideas

 I am NOT a cook...lol..I have some nice big Shrimp and Scallops in the freezer and am planning to cook them Friday...But HOW? I looked online and nothing appealed to me really...what sides do I cook with them?...I would like to so them in a creamy sauce over pasta....but I don't want the sauce to over power them....(I usually use the jarred Alfredo sauces..shame on me..lol)

Any Ideas ladies...would be appreiciated....

I'd do Alfredo over some sort of noodles and broccoli on the side.  It's simple.

food network, betty crocker, maybe even kraft website will have different recipes,.  It depends what my mood is whether i want them in a sauce or not.   I like eating shrimp just plain after they have been cleaned and cooked.
