Has anyone else noticed the E-Cig ads on Facebook.

Am I the only one that thinks that they shouldnt be on Facebook because of kids under 18 using Facebook.

I haven't seen them but I wouldn't have an issue with them personally.

Even if the ad was on your 13 yr old childs page?

My 13 year old knows the dangers of smoking because I'm a smoker, both of regular cigaretts and the electronic ones (my current flavor is watermelon, yum) and teach her the dangers, even if that makes me a hypocrit cause I still smoke.  Plus she isn't allowed to have a facebook page.

Facebook uses cookies and advertises according to your information. When I put up my kiddos I started getting ads about mom and kid things. Hubby is in the Army and he gets ads for military things.

To my knowledge, e cigs are better for you than regular cigs right? So why not. All it is is nicotine right? And even tho its bad, a 13 year old sees ads all over the place so as long as parents parent their children it shouldn't matter.

Facebook and Myspace advertise stuff according to your profile. Like when I put Proud Parent on myspace I got ads for CM.
