Ugh, I have to vent a little about MIL!!!

Let me start off by saying that my MIL is sick like 200 times a month.  (She is such a faker and always wants the attention on her).  I used to joke with my DH and say when I was pregnant "if contractions were contagious she would get them to".

So my 2 year old DD had a cold and then I got it, it was gone for both of us after about 3 days.  Then my MIL got it now it is all of a sudden bronchitis.  My 8 week old got it two days ago and is feeling better now.

So my MIL keeps walking around the house saying over and over "I don't feel good".  We ALL know you don't you have told us 1 million times in the past 6 days, I GET IT!

She is like the little boy who cried wolf, she lies about being sick so much that if she is really sick we are not going to believe her.

She also has a Dr's appoint. today and is insisting that she needs to go to the ER for a chest x ray!

OK I feel better now!!

OMGosh!!!!!!!! You and I are in the exact same boat!!!! My mil is the same way. She is such a hypochondraic!!! If she gets a cold, its automatically pneumonia. You can call her any day of the week, and shell have something to complain about, something that she wants you to feel bad over. Its sooo old, and you know for sure that its just a call for attention, and she isnt really sick. Not only is she a hypochondriac but she also wants to one up you. So lets say I went and broke my arm, she would say "oh well, I broke mine in three places and I lost a finger, and got it sewn back on". If you said that you have tonsilitis, she would say "oh well, I have tonsilitis and its moving into my lungs and into my stomach, and it may be cancer". Its crazy!

The last straw was last week, when one of her attention seeking times went a little too far. She said she had chest pains .. which I know for sure she didnt. She scared the crap out of my neice, and got her to call 911. All because she's a hypochondriac.. its so so old.

Anyway, I didnt know there was anyone else that went through what I go through. WOW. I feel so bad that you have to listen to it.

lol my MIL is the same way too her ex g/f has MS and let's say she told my MIL that her right leg hurt, well then MIL's left leg would hurt too because apparently she gets sympathy pains, it's just on the opposite side.  I told her ex that she should make up pains and see if these sympathy pains still exist.

She sounds like my grandmother. She called 911 last night cause she fell at the casino FRIDAY and hit her back on a chair.

She refused to go to the good hospital so her and my father spent 10 HOURS waiting and they never got seen. They left her half on and half off the bed.

my dad told them they were leaving AMA and going to a better hospital. They called security on them (idk why) and all of a sudden she was "better" and wanted to go home.

There was NOTHING wrong w her! She calls 911 when she stubs her toe and needs to be brought to the ER. If she can't get down her stairs (has stair climbers) she calls 911 and tehy help her.

I'm waiting for the day they tell her no more unless your dying.
