Is it possible to just take some history classes at a college without going to school full time or majoring in anything?

I would like to simply take some history classes, history and that's all.

I've always been fasinated by history, and I wanna learn more about other cultures.

talk to the admissions office about auditing classes if you are just wanting to check stuff out. you buy the books & take the class but since you don't pay for it you don't get credit

you can do a couple of things.  you can apply as a non-degree seeking student and take the class for credit, or you can audit the class.  when you audit a class and take the class like a normal student, but you don't get college credit for it.
