ok, my DH has a 4-5 year old son that he hasn't seen since he was 2weeks old. The mom moved to Mexico with him and he has NO contact with them.
I think he should look for them and get visitation but he'd rather leave it as is.
What do you think?

Its his son and up to him. I wouldnt force him.

I just think a son needs to know his father.
And he is good with my kids so I know he would be good with his own!

why hasn't he tried to know his son? Does he even know where the child is?

He knows he is in Mexico and the mom makes yearly visits here. He could probably find them but doesn't want to try.

I think that is part of it-they were sort of a fling and she got pregnant.

I would leave it alone and leave it up to him to make his own decision.
