How would you feel if you were on a car lot and the manager walked up and implied you couldn't afford the car you were looking at, and suggested you look at a different car?

I'd go to another lot, buy a car from them and go back to that prick and tell him he fucked up.

ha ha, I think it's kind of funny. A friend of mine had that happen. He wanted to test drive a car and they made up some excuse about why he couldn't. He laughed and said, do you think it's the way I was dressed. He was kind of slumming it that day.

I'd tell him that clearly you aren't an important, paying customer and I'd go somewhere else.

Id ask them when is the last time they snooped in my purse to know this...

then leave.

ill never forget the looks i got when my ex and i  went to look at an excursion (sp). we were looking at a brand new one , the guy kept telling us the older one would 'suit us more' when asked why he said , well its smaller for the young lady ... how did he figure i couldnt drive a big truck? when my ex showed him he had a good percentage of the cost in cash , that changed his attitude.
