Baby name opinion....piog

My husband and I have found a first name for our baby girl. However, it can be spelled a couple differant ways. We love the name Zoey and would love to spell it with the y at the end. But in doing research we found it was originally spelled Zoe. We are looking for other people's opinions on the spelling. Would you read it as Zoey if it's spelled without the y or no?

I've only seen it spelled "Zoe" but with either one I read it the same.

I have seen it spelled Zoe. Yes I would say Zoe and Zoey the same way.

I recognize Zoe more but Zoey looks fine and it wont be mispronounced.

same. the y irratated me initially when I saw it (not in your post, on someone I knew), but it is less confusing.  people can be really dumb, so I could see her being called Zoe (rhyming with Joe) more often than not.
