Not being able to use it is a sign of a break. Take him in Momma!!

I would.  Just to be safe.  Does his pedi have weekend hours?

 Better safe then sorry.

My mom once hurt her ankle, she still could walk on it, but it hurt really bad, we finally talked her into getting x rays and she had broken one of her small bones in her ankle.

My daughter could still move her wrist when it was broken. I took her in because it was swelling and bruising really fast, but she could still move it.

Yep..my son fell off his skateboard and his arm didnt hurt for 2 DAYS. Then suddenly a huge bruise appeared..I took him to the doctor and sure enough, his elbow was broken..take him in and good luck momma..hopefully its just a bruise

I would not worry about it unless it becomes swollen and very painful and stops moving it.
