Anyone use G-diapers?

my 16 month old is prone to severe diaper rashes, i'm talking the blistering and bleeding kind in a matter of seconds. i was recently told that mainstream diapers (ie, huggies, pampers, luvs and so on) can play a part in it because of the chemicals in them. i would love to switch to cloth but we don't have a washer and dryer in the house and trying to bring them to the laundromat is more hassle than they are worth. (there also isn't a diaper service within 3 hours of here) i was told that i should try G-diapers though and i don't know anyone that uses them. are they worth the money? i like the compostable concept and the flush-ability, and they sound like they don't have the chemicals and stuff in them. so do they work and are they worth the money i guess are the big questions here.

I think you might want to check out some of the cloth diapering groups, as this post will probably get lost here.  I am thinking about cloth diapering myself and the G and some others actually look pretty simple for people like us who are used to disposables.  Good Luck!

I would join a cloth diapering group. My little one will be here in a week, and I'm going to use disposable ones for a couple weeks then I plan to switch. I'm buying a variety to see what I like the best, but I have limited knowledge of the G-Diapers. My best friend is expecting and that's what she was planning on using....but I don't know anyone who uses them currently.
