Guess how many times I had to tell my 2 year old to sit at the restaurant last night

The answer?  It felt like a gazzilion.  she was sitting next to me in the booth and everytim I turned around, she was standing next to me and not sitting.  I would tell her to sit, help her sit and then she would stand right back up.  repeat.  thank goodness we were the last booth and there was no one behind us.

There was a table down below to our right with kids at it, so she kept trying to see them.  she loves other little kids, so i think that is why. We at least survived the trip without any screaming or food throwing, so it was a success.  I just wish she would have sat a little more.  at least she ate.  Just wanted to share my  lovely night out.  Oh and it was my birthday.

I always told my children they have to sit and eat beofre they could play or get dessert. If she didn't sit, then we would visit the bathroom, have a stern talk, and that was the end of the standing.
