so i was wondering in this lovely economy what kinds of things do you do to save money and resources. i am always looking for new ways to save and cut corners on costs and would love to get some new ideas from other moms. for example some of the things that i do are:

1. i buy our clothes off season so they are 75% or more off othe the regular price.

2. clip coupons from the newspaper and online weekly.

3. look for freebies and samples online.

4. plan my meals around a weekly dinner plan to save on food.

5. shop on the weekly sales papers instead of monthly or bimonthly.

when we run the window ac i put a large watering can under it to collect the water that drips out. it will usually fill up in a day, and then i use that water to water my flowers.

I make everything from scratch....breads, tortillas, buns, pastas, condiments, sauces, candy, crackers, some cheeses, yogurts....etc

as MUCH as I can....saves a ton.

Is there any place I can learn to do this that doesn't cost money?

Everytime I look online everything is a paid site.
