My 2 year ols nephew passed away on sat. He has S.M.A. He died in his sleep. As a mom who has lost a baby I feel so bad for his parents and know there is nothing I can do or say to make this easier for them. Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA) is a neuromuscular disease characterized by degeneration of motor neurons,[1][2] resulting in progressive muscular atrophy (wasting away) and weakness. Kaden had type 1 slash 2! Rest in peace baby boy. Auntie loves you!!! PLease help spread awareness of S.M.A. and do what you can to help find a cure!!!
