I make a quick one.. I take boneless chicken breast and diced it to like an inch.. I cook them in a little evoo and put them aside. I boil egg noodles in a pan and drain them. add cream of mushroom soup with a package of sliced mushrooms and a 1/2 cup of sour cream.. Some people add peas at this point but I hate peas so i dont.. Add chicken and simmer about 10 15 mns.

i bet this would be really good with cream of chicken too. this is the same basic recipe i use for beef stroganoff.

This one is a basic

1 lb grd chicken(or shredded chicken breast)

1 clove garlic

1 can cream of mushroom soup(I use homemade LINK)

1 onion

1/2 t salt

1 c sour cream or plain yogurt

Cook chicken and onion and garlic for 8- 10 min(we add in peas or broccoli and carrots too)

Stir in soup and salt, simmer 10 minutes

Stir in sour cream cook until hot. Serve over noodles or rice

I added this to your other post about this too:

I make this recipe that I take to pot lucks.

I use a bag frozen meatballs. (You could probably substitute chicken)
2 cans of Cream of Mushroom soup (Maybe try cream of chicken soup for chicken)
1 can of cut up mushrooms drained
1 - 1 1/2 cans of beef stock.(depends on how thick you want the sauce. (Try Chicken broth for Chicken stroganoff)
1/4 cup of holland house red wine.(Maybe use a white cooking wine instead for chicken)

I either cook it up quick on the stove while I make noodles or I throw it all in a crockpot.
Then just before serving I add 8ounces of sour cream and heat through.

YUM!
