teen mom. . . . fake?

i can't possible believe that all of the things that happen on this show. . . if it was just normal moms the show would not have as many viewers. so i think they spice the show up a alot! what do you think?

It's probably like The Hills...real people playing themselves, but they're coached on what to talk about or bring up, and it's heavily heavily edited for drama's sake.

I don't think it's fake, I think the situations and conversations are real and unscripted, but it is heavily edited and they are probably coached to do things (like Farrah might have been coached into seeking social security benefits for Sophia, opening the door to DNA testing and meeting Sophia's aunt, etc. Boom you get two or three good episodes out of that. But the conversations were not scripted). I think ALL reality shows are made this way. Can you imagine how boring it would be if they just followed someone around checking their email, watching TV, picking their nose etc? lol
