eh...IDK I don't eat watermelon seeds either. lol I would be more afraid of choking than simply eating them. If it were me, (being super anal and over protective) I would pit them before giving them to the baby. I still pitt cherries before giving them to my 3.5 year old! lol

it is fine...the seeds are perfectly edible.

The grape seeds are harmless. Besides, who wants to sit around taking them out?

A 20 month old shouldn't have whole grapes anyway, so cut them in half and scoop out the 3 little seeds... it will take a little longer.  I wouldn't have my son eat the seeds of watermelon or grapes (or any other fruit) I would pick them out.

my 20 month old has been eating table food for almost 18 months now, including the watermelon (with the white seeds, not the black). It will take FOREVER to get the seeds out of all these grapes gr! and we dont eat cherries so no problem on that. anyway, thanks!
