Thanks.  I just got done reading an article and was going to come back and correct myself.  lol

Quoting canegirl0700:

The fish died about 150 miles from the bird deaths in Arkansas.

Quoting sgr123:

Yes, around the Paducah area.  I just saw it on the news a bit ago.

Quoting cjsix:

 Kentucky???I hadn't heard that...

Has anyone heard about the 80-100,000 fish that died in, I believe, Louisiana?

LMAO!!!!!! I am stealing this(if ya don't mind).

Seriously, I am talking to my Mom and just busted out laughing...now she thinks I have lost it.

Quoting msmoody:

Of course dead birds are dropping out of the sky. Dead birds can't fly.

(sorry..saw that on FB and it made me giggle)

I think there's an explanation for all of these incidents, but people are so hysterical and have that 2012 paranoia that it's all getting out of hand.

My favorite are the 2012 and Revelation stories.  Some are actually convinced it is a sign the end is coming.  I don't believe it was fireworks, but it isn't divine intervention either.

Agree

Quoting wickedfiress:

Every report for each separate incident states that it's not uncommon for mass bird deaths.

... but lets report each one on the news, and give them each so much media exposure that it SOUNDS like it's some supernatural phenomenon...

Can we say mass hysteria?

They are doing tests on the dead birds I am curious to know what it causing this.

They did the tests on the Arkansas birds and it turns out there was massive internal trauma, which corresponds with the theory that the flock got struck by a bolt of lightning and/or heavy weather (rain/wind/ice).

Then you got the today show talking about austraila flooding with headlines like "of biblical porportions" and with the birds and fish media people are probably getting wet.

Sounds like there is a disease that is infecting these birds and fish.
