His peepee hurts *maybe TMI?*

My 3 year old woke up crying and said his pee pee hurt and wanted me to change his pull up. He just kept crying and said it hurt, there was Bo redness or anything wrong, it was hard though. I put his underwear on and he didn't want to walk, just crawled to the couch. He said it's fine now, but that's never happened before. All I could figure is maybe he laid down weird that it hurt it? Can that happen?

My son says/does the same thing somtimes. He's usually better after a few minutes of sitting on the couch. He's also 3.

If it was hard, that's why is hurt. I have 4 boys and we have been through quitea bit of "hurt" peepees. As long as it's not red or swollen, it's probably just because of it being hard when he woke up.

I took my 2 yo to the doctor a couple weeks ago because he said his pee pee hurt. She did a UA on him and it was fine. She thinks it's because he plays with it so much.

It's called an erection.  They don't know what they are and they think it hurts.

My DS used to get erections at night as a small boy all the time.  I wonder if that is what it was.  Does it hurt for your son to pee?

Maybe he had an erection and rolled over on it and hurt it?
