It's never been a problem before but now my 19 month old is fighting our quiet time. It's only 15 mins but it saves my sanity. I don't want to use a punishment but positive isn't working. He did greatduring our cleaning time and this not a regular thing (the fighting me).
Thanks ladies!

??? you are expecting a 19 month old to be still and quiet???

good luck...they are just beginning to move and explore...your "quiet time days" are over

having kids means being flexible all the time. They are always changing and growing and learning new things you have to learn to do the same......

your quiet time happens when they nap.....

When my DD was 19 mos, quiet time was her nap time.

It's also to help him not get too worked up. He has the absolute worst temper when he gets too worked up. my boys love their books so they sit and 'read' and it just gives them enough so he doesn't go off the deep end like he is now. He's having a total meltdown
