Any one married to or dating a pipeliner? I am and he is currently away working. Just wanted sort of a support group!

DH is at the end of the pipeline, in the gas plant, lol.  His dad is on the pipeline though.

My hubby works on the pipeline. He's home now but will be leaving to go work across the country in about a week.

Well, he will be gone for about ten months on this job which is in bunkie, la. Then the next one is in mississippi, not sure where its starting. I think the worst part about it is he is only 3 hrs away but, funds are tight and I can't see him. This is week one of many to come lol and idk what I should do to make me feel better. He has worked pipeline before since we've been together (2yrs) and we were fortunate that it was in our home town..so this is new.

How do you deal with him being gone? We are engaged and I know I can handle the distance, just looking for helpful hints!

The only way a post stays at the top for people to see and read is if it is receiving replies.  If not it can get lost way far down the list and people won't see it.  For this reason if somebody opens a post that they don't really have a response to because it doesn't apply to them or something, they may write the word bump so that it still gets a reply and stays on top for you for others to see and read.
