I'm pregnant and my tailbone is killllllllling me.  Idk why, I'm going to ask my mw when I see her next but that won't be for almost 2 weeks.  I might break down and call.  Until then, how can I help alleviate the pain? Nothing is comfortable, sitting, standing, lying down..it all hurts.  Would ice or heat help more? :/

Just give it a try and see which works best for you. Heat sounds good to me!

Heat for 20 and ice for 15. That's what the dr always tells me when I sprain or injure something.

Lol, I've never done either one for any reason (other than a broken bone).

Heat. Ice is usually for swelling. Unless it's a throbbing pain, in that case, ice is better.

Heat off and on for a day then ice. Momma if it gets to bad I would call. You need some relief.

I've tried soft pillow and it doesn't really help.  The only thing that kind of helps is laying on my side, but even that hurts a little and other parts eventually get tired of that position. lol
