So last night we were walking out of walmart it was my husband, 3 year old daughter and i. I was pushing the cart and my daughter was hanging on to it andmy husband was behind us.
I looked for cars before we started crossing and a car stopped to let us cross, and nothing else was coming. Just then a truck comes barrelling out of the one of the parking lanes and goes around the car the stoped for us just as we were in front of him...my husband yelled to me to stop just then i looked up saw him coming grabbed my daughter and pushed the cart infront of his truck. He hit it and kept going...didnt even stop. My husband(hes a marine) ran down to where the truck had stoped for a stop sign and pulled the guy out and called the police...
It was the scariest thing i have even been through..the police looked over the servalence video and gave the guy a ticket..im just so thankful no one was hurt!!
so have extra caution when talking to or from walmart.
this just happened to a friend the other day except she DID get hit...she is ok.....her back & leg hurts so nothing major but i think the only difference is, it was Cosco but still i swear pple NEVER took to where they are going...everytime i go to walmart or anywhere for that matter because there are just a lot of unsafe drivers around it boggles my mind to no end.

you always gotta be careful in parking lots. people don't pay attention.
I'm glad you and your daughter are ok..Good fast reflex to grab your daughter out of the cart. Glad your husband was able to get thet guy and called the cops. I hate walking through the parking lots and I have almost been hit a few times and it is always when I have my kids with me. one time a person started to back up when my 4 year old and I were walking past the car and I yelled at the car and they stopped...I notice a lot of people dont stop at stop signs in the parking lot and the crosswalks. I always comment to my kids when we are walking to a store if someone doesnt stop for us in the crosswalk that those people are bad cause you are suppose to stop at a crosswalk for people in it and if a cop had been here they would have a ticket.
