My 4YO is in her independent phase and I hate hate hate it! She just told me that she doesn't need me to help her pick out clothes for school and put them on she can do it herself. I want her to need me to take care of her forever!crying

A, B, C, D, E, F, G, Gummy bears are chasing me, one is red, one is blue, one is peeing on my shoe, now I'm running for my life, 'cuz the red one has a knife.

PS: Bash my opinion if you like, I don't return to "Hot Topic" posts after having my say anyway.

Whatever.  Your job is to teach her to be an independent, free thinking, contributing member of society.  You're succeeding.  Look at this as a sucess.
