tubal ligation and weight gain??

When hubby and I first got married I weighed 135. Now 3 kids later i was up to 186 after having my daughter and getting tubes tied. well today at dr's office i was 178. I'm just shocked at the weight. And the fact i really don't stuff my face adn i'm always busy. And the dr said it could be from the tubal. Has anyone else gained weight after having their tubes tied?? And if so what helped? I'm kinda limited until my knee is better. had an MRI and bruised my damn knee bone somehow and tore the miniscus??

i'd be perfectly content at 150 so how should i do it. Also i have type 1 Diabetes so weight is always an issue :(

Not sure if the 2 are linked but I have had nothing but issues since getting my tubes tied.

Yea me too. Ever since having her and the procedure I have horrific cycles and pain and rupturing cysts. the OBGYN doc today wanted to put me on birth control. Just have me take in continual skipping the placebos until my period stops. TOTALLY STUPID REASON in my head. I have my tubes tied so i woudn't have to take the damn pill!! lol.

And that also worries me because the last time I took BC pills I GAINED WEIGHT!! Ugh I just can't win on this one :(

I'm all for a good weight loss pill right now. Just to help me get down a few. I could manage the rest but seriously in 6 months I've only lost like 7 or 8 lbs

Mr Dr. too is also talking about putting me on BC , I refuse, my tubes were tied for a reason. I was told NOTHING would change when I got my tubes tied, well my cycle was 23 days, I am so screwed up now I have no clue when I will start my period or not. I cramp horribly for 4 days previous to my period, I cramp horribly when I ovulate. It just sucks.

I had never given it much thought but I have MANY of these symptoms. Could explain why I have such a harder time now losing weight.
