That's your FB status?!?! How mature. *rolls eyes*

I have a friend that has a preteen. Her daughter has apparently having trouble with a teacher at school. They both put status' on their FB pages trashing this teacher for disciplining the daughter at school.

I don't know the situation so I have no idea who is right or wrong as far as the discipline goes and I'm not judging them for disagreeing.

That said I think it is completely inappropriate to trash the teacher on FB. If it was just the preteens page it would be one thing. (If it were my kid they'd have to delete the post and they'd get grounded from FB.) I just don't understand how the mother could put something up too! What kind of an example is that?!

depends on what she said. was it vulgar? or was she just stating she thought her daughters teacher was wrong?

Maybe someone needs to say something to her before she will understand the reaction of others. Not everyone understands the impact of a FB statement.

What'd it say?

The daughters was basically a vent so it's more understandable.

The mother called her a "hateful jealous old hag".

I find that pretty immature too. *eye roll* Does she really want to be on the same level as a pre-teen?

Well I feel somewhat better. I was afraid I was being super uptight or something.

Obviously if there's a problem with the teacher address it. But not on FB. I sincerely doubt that's going to improve the situation.
