If the government shutsdown what does that mean for people on PA?

With all this talk about the government shutting down and people not getting paid, this got me wondering, what about those that are any type of PA? What happens to those who are relying on ther government for help? If they shutdown, that would mean all government programs too would shutdown/nonpayments. So does that mean people on PA wont get money on their cards to buy their foods?

We are Military, I am worried about not getting paid of course, but we have plenty of savings to keep living as normal and I know we will get back pay once all is said and done. But I am more worried about those who will not be able to get by....

If the government shuts down, lack of PA would be the least of our worries!

social security, foodstamps, and the like would continue. They have already said that.

..and i am almost 99.99% sure military pay will not be affected as well. I don't care what the military times article has said.

I'm pretty sure PA would continue as always.  Better to take it from those who are working to support themselves than shut down PA.

No one can get by mow. There really wouldn't be too much of a difference. And there are worse things that can happen with the govt shut down......

PA is a government run program, I would think it would take a hit?

So people on PA would still get money, but the military wouldn't?
