My 4 year old is just HORRIBLE, ALWAYS HORRIBLE. Hes never a joy anymore, i love him to death and there are very rare times he is a sweet boy but that is SO rare now...he has been acting like this since he was 3 and i am so sick of it and don't know what to do, he cusses constantly and neither my husband or i cuss anymore, we used to until he said them then we stopped and only slip up sometimes...idk what is going on with him, i feel like such a failure & a  horrible, horrible mom. ..i am just at a loss, we have tried everything, we are consistent and nothing is helping, i am in tears almost daily over this....has anyone been through this before? should i make an appointment with his doctor? i am so embarrassed when i take him places, he really makes me look like i never discipline him but we do, all the time....crying mini

 Wow have you tried soap?

And yes you may need to get a referral to a therapist for sure.  If you are trying your damndest and nothing is working it cant hurt.

There is nothing more shocking for alot of us than a cussing toddler!

I know how you feel. It's very difficult to maintain control over a wiley toddler with their own agenda. You will only fail when you give up!

I friend of mine has the same exact problem with her 4 year old boy. She is at an absolute loss at what to do either. I've seen first hand the problems that it cause, and I'm sorry Mama. Rest assured, you aren't a failure.
