Stereotypes are an excuse to fail or a deminishment of success.

You're black, therefore you are dangerous (you're dangerous because you're black...not because you have anger management issues)

You're Asian, therefore you are smart.  (you're smart because you're Asian....not because you worked hard to succeed)

Are those two statements NOT the most ludicrous statemenst you've ever read???

Own your own thoughts, actions, behaviors, decisions.  Take credit for you own successes and ideas.

Don't ever blame them or credit your failures or success based on your demographic.

Each person is an individual who has their own upbringing, their own history and who has ultimate control of their own destiny....stereotypes and generalizations have no place in WHO PEOPLE ARE.

Yes - this is inspired by a post from futureshock.

The stereotypes are obviously there because people have been able to make a correlation......

The question is -- is that correlation CORRECT????

Well......is it?????

Check the definition of stereotype. It is NOT correct for every person in a group.
