what is the best hair straightener?

Some say Chi, others Paul Mitchell. What do you say?

My hair is thick and unruley. The straightener I have now I bought at a yard sale 10 years ago for $1 and it takes about 5 strokes to get my hair semi-straight. I know to get a good straightener I am going to have to drop some serious cash and I am prepared to do so.

I am very bad about commenting on a post and not going back to see if anyone quoted me. If you hav something you want to talk with me further about, send me a message.

I bought a Paul Mitchell four years ago and it just broke...but it worked great. CHIs aren't bad also.

I never used a chemical straightener. I used a large curling iron. Now I leave it curly!
